Children’s Poetry Contest!
We are looking for FUN poems from kids!
You can enter up to 3 original poems in one of these age categories:
6-9, 10-13, and 14-17.
There will be 1 winner from each category.
2 Winners will receive a $20 gift card and a Bluemont Fair t-shirt.
Our Best-in-Show Poet will receive a $50 gift card along with the t-shirt.
Each entry must be accompanied by a contest submittal form signed by a parent or guardian.
Winners will be chosen and notified no later than October 6.
Select entries will be posted for the public to view in the
Children’s Poetry Tent during the fair.
Winning entries, along with contestant’s names, may be posted on the fair website.
You may also get the opportunity to read your poem on stage!
To participate, stop by the Poetry Tent at the fair, or mail your original poems along with a completed Submission Form to:
