Below is a list of vendor and participant categories. Please read through all the descriptions carefully, then select the category that best fits you. Click the corresponding link(s) for more information and to access the appropriate application.
We encourage you to apply early as many categories fill up quickly. Once your application is submitted, the Fair Chair for your category will review it and send a confirmation upon approval. As the event date approaches, you’ll receive additional details.

Art Show & Sale
Wall Art & Sculpture
We warmly invite Artists to take part in the Bluemont Fair Art Show & Sale, held upstairs at the historic E.E. Lake Store. For over 50 years, the Bluemont Fair has been a cherished country tradition, drawing thousands of visitors each year. A highlight of the event is the opportunity to celebrate and showcase the remarkable talent of our local art community.

Authors
Local
We invite local authors to reserve a booth in the Authors’ section, where they can engage with Fair visitors, share their work, and offer their books for sale. It’s a great opportunity to connect with readers and be part of a cherished community tradition.

Baked Goods
Consignors
Each year, the Fair hosts a popular giant bake sale featuring individually packaged homemade treats provided by consignors. Baked Goods are sold by the Fair, with 80% of the sale price going to the baker and 20% retained to support the Fair.

Children’s Fair & Young Entrepreneurs
Ages 6-17
The Children’s Fair is a free, dedicated area of the Fair designed especially for younger fairgoers. It features games, crafts, face painting, and a variety of kid-friendly activities.
Within this space is our Young Entrepreneur section, where aspiring young business owners have the chance to showcase and sell their products or services to the public at a discounted vendor rate. Participants are responsible for setting up and managing their own booths, giving them a hands-on opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a fun and supportive environment.

Corporate Business
Local Corporate Businesses
We offer a limited number of spaces for local business owners representing a larger corporation, brand, or service who wish to showcase their product or service at the Fair. These spots are intended for vendors whose offerings align with the community spirit and atmosphere of a country fair.
If we approve your application, you must provide proof of Vendor and Exhibitor Insurance.

Crafts, Juried
100% Handmade, Non-Food Items
We warmly welcome Craft Artisans to sell their 100% handmade items, with an emphasis on exceptional workmanship, originality, and creativity. Whenever possible, we encourage the use of all-natural materials. All applications will be reviewed by a committee to assess eligibility and ensure they meet our standards.
If we approve your application, you must provide proof of Vendor and Exhibitor Insurance.

Fiber Arts
Artisans & Animals
This section of the Fair celebrates fiber animals such as sheep, alpacas, rabbits, and goats, as well as the art of fiber crafts. Fiber Artists showcase their skills, offering live demonstrations and selling handmade products related to fiber arts, such as yarn, textiles, and other unique creations.

Food
Concessionaire & Specialty
The Bluemont Fair is on the lookout for unique, high-quality foods, with a strong preference for locally sourced ingredients!
Categories:
Food Concessionaire: Products that are prepared on-site for consumption on-site
Specialty Foods: Vendors with a limited product line that are not intended to be consumed on-site

Marketplace
Antique, Flea & Local Small Businesses
The Marketplace is a vendor area that combines the former “Antiques & Fleas” and “Local Business” categories. Located near the food court and Beer & Wine Garden, it features vendors selling antiques, collectibles, and unique finds. It also welcomes local businesses from Loudoun and Clarke counties offering products that reflect the charm of a country fair. If you represent a non-local company, please see the “Corporate Business” category below.

Nonprofit
Organizations
We offer discounted Fair spaces to registered Nonprofit Organizations interested in sharing information about their mission or selling items to support fundraising efforts. It’s a great opportunity to engage with the community and raise awareness for your cause.

Rides & Entertainment
Ticketed Activities
Ticketed Rides and Entertainment include activities such as pony rides, rock climbing walls, and similar attractions. Vendors in this category pay a fee for their space at the Fair, sell their own tickets, and retain all proceeds from their ticket sales.
