2026 Application – Fiber Arts

Join Us at the 56th Annual Bluemont Fair September 19–20, 2026fair animals

The Bluemont Fair is a beloved, village-wide, two-day country fair that draws between 7,000 and 10,000 visitors each year. Our Fiber Field area is prominently located located in the heart of the Fair on Creekside Lawn, showcases exhibitors offering fiber-related products, demonstrations, and displays of fiber livestock (sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, etc.).

The fair is widely promoted across local, regional, and state channels, including:

  • Community signboards and posters
  • Our website, search engines, and social media
  • Newspapers, libraries, and community centers
  • Retail stores, malls, tourism brochures
  • The Virginia Artisan Trail Network

Supporting local artisans is a long-standing Bluemont Fair tradition. To ensure a diverse mix of fiber arts, we limit any single medium to no more than 25% of the total. If you’d like to participate, we strongly encourage you to apply early—whether you want to show off your livestock, demonstrate your craft or just want to sell your 100% handmade fiber items.

To apply, please read the instructions below and complete the application form at the bottom of this page.

For questions, contact the Fiber Arts Chair.

Thank you for your interest in the Bluemont Fair! We’re excited to welcome local artisans and hope you enjoy the Fair as much as we do!
