2025 Application – Juried Crafts

The Bluemont Fair is a beloved two-day, village-wide country fair, attracting between 7,000 and 10,000 visitors. The 55th Annual Bluemont Fair will take place on September 20th & 21st, 2025. Our extensive Juried Crafts area is situated on the front lawn of the Bluemont Community Center and in a refurbished barn just behind the building. Throughout the weekend, selected crafters will demonstrate their techniques in their booths.

To maintain the variety of crafts at the fair, we limit any single medium to no more than 10% of the total offerings. Therefore, if you’re interested in showcasing your work, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Please note that there are only 14 spaces available in the barn, and these fill up quickly.

The Bluemont Fair receives wide promotion across local, county, state, and regional channels, including community signboards, posters, our website, social media platforms, newspapers, local libraries, community centers, nearby retail stores and malls, tourism brochures, and the Virginia Artisan Trail Network.
If you would like to participate in the fair, please read the instructions below and complete the application form (a Google document) at the bottom of the page. Don’t forget to include the required attachments or your application won’t be complete!

Applications received after May 1, 2025, will still be considered; however, applicants will be charged a $26.00 late fee per space. The majority of the “jurying in” process occurs during May but will continue thereafter as needed and as space permits.

Insurance

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) showing liability coverage of $1 million and naming Bluemont Citizens Association as an additional insured is required. Please refer to our Vendor & Exhibitor Insurance page for detailed requirements. While you do not have to provide insurance as part of your application, proof of insurance is required for Fair participation.
