We’re excited to have Eric Zieg, an experienced blacksmith and demonstrator at Mt. Vernon, joining us at the Bluemont Fair. With years of experience, he expertly teaches visitors about the blacksmith’s role in history. Visit him in Stone’s Field to see his craft in action!
Visit Mountain Meadow Place to meet local authors and chat about their books. Browse a variety of titles, from children’s picture books to novels and local history, and take home a few for yourself!
The Bluemont Fair began as a showcase for local artists, and that tradition continues today! Browse artwork from regional artists at all price levels, and take home a painting or two. The art sale and lounge is located on the second floor of the E.E. Lake Building.
Artisans demonstrate their skills throughout the Bluemont Fair. Watch pottery being thrown, wood turned, baskets woven, and more. Try weaving, spinning yarn, or quilting as you explore the village.
