2026 Application Information – Ride/Ticketed Entertainment

Join Us at the 56th Annual Bluemont Fair September 19–20, 2026train for kids

The Bluemont Fair is a beloved, village-wide, two-day country fair that draws between 7,000 and 10,000 visitors each year.

The fair is widely promoted across local, regional, and state channels, including:

  • Community signboards and posters
  • Our website, search engines, and social media
  • Newspapers, libraries, and community centers
  • Retail stores, malls, tourism brochures
  • The Virginia Artisan Trail Network

Providing family entertainment has long been a Bluemont Fair tradition. We are always looking for new experiences for our fair visitors, and would be thrilled to hear about your offerings.

If you provide a ride or form of entertainment that you believe is consistent with a country fair (no bouncy castles please!), please read the information and complete the form below.

Questions? Contact the Ride/Ticket Entertainment Chair.

Thank you for your interest in the Bluemont Fair! We’re excited to welcome new family attractions and hope you enjoy the Fair as much as we do!

Application Requirements

New Ride/Entertainment
New applicants must submit a file (in a common format such as PDF, Word, etc.) that includes

  • Photos of the ride or entertainment
  • A brief description of the attraction

Once complete, this file needs to be uploaded in the file upload section of the form below.

Returning Ride/Entertainment
If you participated in the 2025 Bluemont Fair, you only need to submit photos if you are adding a new category of items that was not previously juried. Please include a brief description of the process and materials used for each new item. If you did not participate in 2025, you must submit photos of all your work, as your application will be reviewed as if you are a new applicant.

Liability Insurance

You are not required to provide proof of insurance when submitting your application. However, a Certificate of Insurance (COI) showing proof of liability coverage is required in order to participate in the Fair.

Please review the detailed requirements on our Vendor & Exhibitor Insurance page and make sure your COI meets these standards before uploading it using our online COI Upload Form.

The deadline to submit your COI is September 1, 2026. Your application will not be considered complete until we have received your COI.

Application Deadline September 1, 2026

Applications submitted after September 1, 2026, will still be considered as space allows; however, a $25 late fee per space will apply and you won’t be included in the publicity plan.

Application Status

Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified by email.

Payment & Final Documentation

If you’re accepted as a vendor, your confirmation email will include instructions for submitting your valid Certificate of Insurance (COI), if you haven’t already done so, as well as completing your payment. All payments will be made electronically by credit card. You’ll have seven (7) days from approval to make your payment. If payment isn’t received on time, your space may be forfeited. If you miss the deadline but still want to participate, please contact the Ride/Ticket Entertainment Chair as soon as possible—your space may still be available, but it’s not guaranteed. A $25 late fee per space applies after September 1, 2026.
